How Do You Change Your Life Script?

The first step is to wake up and realize your have choice.  In every phase of your life, you need to be mindful and aware.  Pay attention to your surroundings.  Know that no matter what things might look like or what situation you currently find yourself in, you always have a choice.

And know that when you make choices that express the real you and what you desire, your life becomes truly yours and it will feel richer, thicker and fuller.

Everything in life is a choice.

The challenge is understanding that just because you choose love, success, a better job, joy, happiness, prosperity or anything on a conscious level, it does not mean you will automatically receive it.

Your choice must first tie into the core of your being, your entire belief system, your life script.  You need to internalize your choice.

For instance, you can choose to be in a happy, loving relationship, but if you do not believe you deserve to be loved or can find a happy, loving relationship with every level of your being, you may never receive it.

Step one is to choose what you want on a conscious level.  Once you have done this, you can then move on to step two, internalize your desire.  This is when you start the work to convince your subconscious that it is possible.  This is when you start the work to change your life script.

Compare it to strength training.

When you first begin to work your muscles, you can only lift a small amount of weight, but as time goes on and you increase the weight you are lifting, you increase the muscle’s strength and ability. In making a choice, you must begin by acknowledging the choice you are making, even if you don’t truly believe it at the time.

Daily reminders of the choices you have made will reinforce and strengthen your internal belief. You will begin to see the results of your choices.  This is particularly important with relationships.  Make a conscious decision to choose what you want your relationship to be and then reinforce that decision daily.

Remember, repetition is crucial.

This is how we form habits and addictions.  But you can form good habits just as easily as bad habits if you make the decision to do so.

Imagine the relationship you want.

Visualize what it looks like, what it feels like.  When you find that little voice in your head telling you that you cannot have it, repeat a 100 times that you are moving toward love, joy, happiness and fulfillment.

Remember that your strength comes from moving toward what you want, not away from what you do not want.  Keep your focus on what you want to move toward.

It is your choice what you believe and what you want to experience. You are entitled to joy, happiness and fulfillment.  This is our right, our legacy.

It’s as natural as the grass growing and the sun shining on a lovely day.  You need to believe this, to internalize this belief and change your life script if need be.
